The New Me

Turning 21, that's a huge step. To celebrate this milestone, I've decided to chop off my hair. It's been awhile since I've gotten a haircut, and I want to start off fresh when I turn 21. On my birthday, my fiance and I will have engagement pictures taken. It'll be fun, and I wanted to make sure that my hair was cut before then. To give me time to adjust, I decided that today would be the perfect day to cut my hair. It feels weird having my hair short, but I love it. Here are the before and after photos:

It looked a little funny after it was cut, so I took my shower, hoping this it would look better afterward. And guess what? It did! I love how it turned out! What do YOU think?

Twilight: Eclipse

I love Twilight. This is such a great year for me. I will be graduating from college, getting married, turning 21, and I get to watch awesome movies. Another good thing is that I live about fours away from Forks, WA. I have a goal to visit it sometime this year, preferably before Eclipse comes out. Or...maybe I can watch Eclipse while I'm in Forks! That would be cool. Go ahead and view this awesome trailer. You'll love it so much, you'll be counting down the days until June 30th, the day it comes out. AND they are showing it at the IMAX theater. I don't think it will be in 3-D, but IMAX has those large screens so it'll be pretty cool. Alright, enough babbling. Watch the trailer, and then go see the movie on June 30th. Anybody live in WA and wanna go visit Forks with me?

To My Lover

Daisypath Anniversary tickers

Today is our 4th anniversary of being together. I'm so happy that we've made it this far. He has work today but gets off at 4PM so afterwards we plan on going on a dinner and movie date. I love our dates. Here's to many more years with you, my teddy bear.

Open For Business!

I've finally taken the plunge and opened up my etsy shop! Right now I only have a few items available for sale, but I will add some more by the weekend. Everything available for sale is handmade, with paper. Sometime in the next week or so I will be adding items created with digiscrap supplies. Please go check out my Etsy shop here or by clicking the products in my sidebar widget labeled Etsy Shop.

Busy Day

What a busy day today was. I had an dentist appointment at 1pm, shopped for two hours, ate a late lunch, and then went to school at 5pm. Very busy for me. Most days I don't even have one thing going on, and this one I had three.

I had so much fun shopping today. I had a Jo-ann giftcard for $20 plus some awesome 50% coupons. I only spent $17 dollars and everything was on sale except for two items, but I used the 50% coupons on them. I saved about $10 dollars! Everything I bought is for my card making business. I will be selling them on Etsy (which is why you see an Etsy sidebar). I already made three cards and will be posting them tomorrow. I just need to take the pictures, and then they will be posted. I hope you guys like my cards. Maybe enough to buy one? Pretty please? :]

As for school, it sucked. I really hate business. I don't know why I ever decided to get a business degree. Its my last class, and I will be graduating this quarter, so I can't really change my mind now. I will, however, go back to school to get a second degree. I'm not sure what its gonna be yet, but I want it to be specialized. Here are some ideas:
  • Photography
  • Interior Design
  • Hospitality
  • Journalism
That's all the ideas I have for now. I'm a creative person, so I want a creative degree. Business really is sucking the creativeness out of me. I only have one class, and IT IS SO BORING! Everyone else is talking and joining in the discussions, but not me. I sit in the back, all quiet. Its mostly because I'm shy but its also because I'm not interested in the topics. They bore me. Talking about managers and small businesses, its so boring. So, that means that I need to do some research. I need to find out what kind of degree I want, and where I want to get it. Oh, I might become a teacher too. That's another idea. What do you think?

Ch-Ch-Changes

**This post was part of my old 101 challenge blog, and was merged over.

I wrote a post a couple of weeks ago saying that I will be making some changes to my list. I've finally had some time to sit down and figure out what I want to change. So, here they are.

004. Cook 2 new dishes a month for 6 months will be changed to Cook 20 new dishes. I don't want to have a set amount to cook each month, it makes me worry. Instead, I have changed it to a total amount of dishes, and I've added more dishes.
016. Don't eat fast food more than twice a month, each month will be changed to Eat as least 15 home cooked meals every month. It is easier for me to keep track of what I eat at home rather than when I eat out. Also, giving myself the allowance of two fast foods makes me feel like I have a coupon I can use. I didn't like thinking of it that way.
024. Straighten my bottom teeth will be changed to Get my teeth whitened. With everything going on right now, I won't have enough money to pay for this. And I wasn't sure if it would be finished by then.
028. Wake up before 10am every morning consecutively for a year will be changed to Wake up before 10am at least five times a week for one year. Waking up before 10am everyday for one year is purely impossible for me. Some days I just need to be able to sleep in. I will record this goal by weeks instead of 5x a week for 52 weeks.
030. Track my health progress in a notebook will be changed to Track my health progress on my blog. I find it easier to update my blog than my notebook.
047. Visit all counties in Washington will be changed to Visit half the counties in Washington. Washington has way too many counties. This goal is nearly impossible since I don't have a big budget for traveling right now. Besides, I'd rather spend the money going to other places than trying to visit each county. I would like to visit half the counties though. I'm already halfway there. I might change this again later if I move to a different state or if I find something more interesting.
056.Attend 2 Seattle Mariners games (one home and one away) -- see below
057.Attend 2 Seattle Seahawks games (one home and one away) will be combined with the goal above and be changed to Attend 2 Seattle sports games. These types of events cost a lot of cash, and I don't think I would be able to attend four games within two years. I will add an additional goal later on, I just don't know what to replace it with yet.

Other goals that need to be changed:
005. Start and maintain a book log for the duration of this challenge
008. Learn how to drive stick shift
033. Donate a gallon of blood
040. Help the Hubby create his own 101 in 1001 list
048. Visit a ghost town
071. Make a geocache and hide it
072. Find 10 geocaches [0/10]
073. Discover 5 geocoins [0/5]
087. Own at least 50 piggy banks [11/50]

I made a lot of these goals in the beginning is a rush to write the list. I don't feel that bad with changing them because sometimes you lose interest in certain activities. I will make the second set of updates when I figure out what to change them to.

Finished Photobook

**This post was part of my old 101 challenge blog, and was merged over.

039. Make a scrapbook for someone else COMPLETED!
I actually finished this photobook back in the beginning of January. However, I was on vacation until the end of February and was not able to ship it until the beginning of March. My client, Evan's mom, won this photobook as a prize for a contest. Here a picture of the cover and a couple of other pages. These are the digital copies. I was able to take physical pictures but I don't have them uploaded.

**This post was part of my 2010 goals.

Do you love Alvin and the Chipmunks? Well, "Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel" is now available on DVD, Blu-ray and Digital Download. What's better than the Squeakquel on DVD? The Squeakquel Double DVD pack! The Double DVD Pack includes "The Squeak Along" Bonus Disc, with more music, mayhem and all-new singalongs!

Remember last december when I 'munked' myself? Well, you can do it too! It’s still available to play with, visit http://www.munkyourself.com/ to see what it’s all about. It’s really fun to dress up the little chipmunk to make it look like yourself. You can either make a little boy chipmunk or a little girl chipmunk. They both are really cute!

The Squeakquel is a must-see for all families and even adults! I love Alvin and the Chipmunks and I don't even have any kids. The chipmunks are so cute. This is one DVD that you should add to your DVD collection, especially if you have kids. Kids will love the little chipmunks! The Squeakquel features Alvin, Simon, and Theodore as well as new chipmunks, the girls, the chipettes!
