Graduation Planning

I received the invitation to my graduation ceremony last week and mailed in the response card. I am so excited to be graduating! Its been three long years, and I am ready to finish. Oh, and the ceremony date is June 13th! I only have three more class sessions, and then I'm done!

Most of my family lives in Washington but I do have some on the other side of the states. I want to create an announcement to send them to announce my graduation.

I've been looking at these announcements from a company called Storkie. They have AMAZING invitations and announcements. I love the ones with the little cartoons on them.
Like this one ---------->
But at $1.79 a piece, I can't afford it. Especially since they require a 20 quantity mininum. So I thought about making my own graduation announcements, using my digiscrap supplies. Now, what kind of layout? I found four of my faves online. They should be easy to recreate. Which one is your favorite?

Free Pizza!

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Freschetta. All opinions are 100% mine.

I recently had a chance to try out some Freschetta FlatBread . And its good! I normally don't buy frozen (or even fresh) pizza but I always love a chance to try something new. I went to my local Albertsons to buy the pizza and they have a good selection! They were on sale for $4.99 each, but the original price was $7.99. Since the price was so high, I would only go back again if it was on sale. I didn't see any of the flat bread, but that's ok. We got two of the Naturally Rising and one of the Brick Oven. I personally like the Brick Oven better. I'm much more of a thin crust person, and Freschetta did not fail to impress me in that!

When we made the Brick Oven pizza, it turned out perfect. It is my favorite! But when we made the two Naturally Rising pizzas, they were a little soft. I left it in the oven for the amount of time it said on the box, but I think I should have left it in a little longer. Both of them were very good! I would definitely buy again!

Now how would you like to sample some of your own? I have two free Freschetta FlatBread coupons left to giveaway!

    Time to Scrap

I finally had a chance to sit down and work on some digiscrap LOs. Mind you, I am only able to create about 2-3 a day because there is something wrong with my photoshop. I have no clue what the problem is, or how to fix it, but it will often freeze up, tell me that there is an error, and shut down. Its really irritating but I don't know what to do about it. I have to save my work just about every 30 seconds, or every time I make an edit. If I don't, then a lot of times I will lose my work. Sometimes I've even had it shut down while I'm trying to save! Its really sucks. Oh well, what can I do?

I wanted to share with you all what I have been up to. I have some Artscow credits for 30-paged photobooks, so I'm trying to at least complete one. So I've been working like crazy to complete an album, and the one I chose was our family vacation to Florida back in 2003. I don't know why I chose this one, maybe because its the easiest, not sure. But here they are...

    Birthday Weekend

**This post was part of my old 101 challenge blog, and was merged over.

I recently turned 21 last Saturday and my fiance and I celebrated by taking a weekend trip to Seattle. Most things didn't go as planned, but I still enjoyed myself. In the meantime, I was able to accomplish a few goals.

    007. Learn how to make 15 alcoholic drinks [1/15]
We bought some alcohol and some juice and I made my own recipe! I call it 'Tropical Dragon'. I'll update later on the recipe, and include some photos.
    062. Party on my 21st Birthday! COMPLETED!
On my birthday, we went out to Seattle. We at dinner at a nice french restaurant and then went back to the hotel to have fun and drink.
    066. Have a photo shoot with someone COMPLETED!
During the day, we met up with a photographer couple and we had an engagement session. They were looking for people for their portfolio so we were able to get them done for free! I can't wait to see the proofs, but I have to wait a week. I will make sure to post a couple of pictures when I get them. It was so much fun, I can't wait to have another photoshoot. Too bad I don't know when that will happen again.

I was going to go to Pike Place Market but we didn't have time. Oh well. I'm trying to plan another Seattle getaway soon so hopefully I will be able to accomplish more next time.

**This post was part of my 2010 goals.

I Can Partyy If I Want To

    Lilypie Kids Birthday tickers

My birthday is this Saturday. Yay! We are going to Seattle for the weekend and we are gonna party! :]

    Here is the plan:
12:00PM - Eat at Dennys for lunch in Bremerton [ I have a free grand slam coupon for my bday! ]
1:00PM - Head out for the drive to Seattle
    3:00PM - Check-in to our hotel
    4:00PM - Engagement session [ For free! ]
    7:00PM - Eat dinner at a French restaurant [ I have a $25 gift certificate! ]
8:00PM - Partyy at the hotel!

    The next day:
    12:00PM - Eat lunch at a cute little diner [ I have a $10 gift certificate! ]
1:00PM - Spend the day in Seattle, doing whatever [ haven't come up with ideas yet, thinking about Pike Place Market, if its open! ]
6:00PM - Drive back to Bremerton
8:00PM - Watch two movies at the drive-in

Yes, it will be my 21st birthday, but I won't be partying too much. I don't have a designated driver so I have to wait until I get to the hotel to party. But it will only be me and my fiance so not much partying we can do with just us. But it will be fun, either way! :]
